Chocolate Box Sample Pack
Chocolate Box Sample Pack
Lovely, rich brown naturally colored wool and alpaca makes such a delicious spinning opportunity. These four one-ounce samples include Corriedale (Missouri), Alpaca (Indiana), CVM (Michigan), and Romeldale (Indiana). Since they are all against-the-skin soft, they could easily be combined or blended into a single yarn for hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, shawls or anything you can think of to keep you warm this winter.
Price: $14.00

Across the Crosses Sample Pack
Across the Crosses Sample Pack
Just because a sheep isn't pure-bred doesn't mean her wool isn't wonderful in which to spin and create warm clothing. These four cross fleeces were chosen for their lovely hand, their ease of spinning, and their adaptability to create anything from sweaters to lace shawls. This sample pack includes one ounce each of Lincolnfolk (from Indiana), CVM/Corriedale/Romney (from Michigan), Texel/Wensleydale/Cotswold and Texel/Rambouillet/Cotswold (both from Kentucky).
Available Qty: 12
Price: $12.50

Icelandic Sample Pack
Icelandic Sample Pack
Icelandic wool comes in three basic shades - white, black and moorit (different shades of brown). In this sample pack, we are including one ounce each of white, black, and two shades of moorit - a light and a medium. These sheep live on a lovely farm in Kentucky. Their wool consists of both the Tog and Þel (pronounced as thel). Spun loosely, it creates a light, warm and water-resistant yarn that is perfect for Icelandic sweaters. It takes dyes very well, too. Not against the skin soft, but oh so warm and lovely.
