Update and a HUGE Thank You!!

Just a quick update on bringing the online shop back online – Sandy is still under the weather, and we are supposed to have rain for the next several days, so unloading the trailer has been postponed for a bit. Keep your fingers crossed that we can unload this weekend, and I can get the remaining stock up for sale.

This past weekend at Michigan Fiber Festival was beyond my wildest expectations. All of the love you guys and gals gave me over the weekend was a bit overwhelming. I will admit that seeing everyone at the fiber festivals is the main thing I will miss the most. I left each night with my heart overflowing with gratitude.

And on top of that, you helped clean out the space. When we left home Thursday, we had the trailer packed to the gills, and the CR-V was just as full of nearly everything Sandy and I still have to sell. When Scott and I packed up to go home on Sunday, there wasn’t enough to cover the floor of the trailer. You wonderful people bought fiber, yarn, posters, bags, fleeces, Breed Study Worksheets, spindles, and fixtures. Seriously, you talked me out of things I had no intention of selling in the first place. Heavens, I even sold the doll sweater off Maddie the Model.

Dyed in the Wool has been a very large part of my life these past 9 years. All my vacation time and most of my spare time has been devoted to this business. While I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life (The Fiber Pusher being one of them), there’s a bittersweet feeling about closing this one. I have learned so much and grown tremendously in my knowledge of wool, sheep, and the fiber arts, and this wouldn’t have been possible without you as the incentive. And I have just two words to say to you. From the bottom of my heart –

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
